is using biofuel OK, so as long the fuel came from the waste product of the crop itself?
not the part that’s used to feed people or using non-food crops in the same acre of farmland as food crops. Brazil has such a program with its sugarcane program, where the waste is used as biofuel ,but not the foodstuff.
Sweet Sorghum for Biofuel (University of Missouri)
During World War II, when sugar was rationed, bootleggers used the juice of sweet sorghum to make moonshine. Now researchers are studying ways to boost the plant’s potential to brew not booze, but biofuel.
why is it important to conserve electricity?
Since Biofuel can be made from the discarded parts of corn isn’t it cheaper to make than drilling for oil?
And if so why are we not all using biorenewable fuel because it is less damaging to the environment. My understanding is it is more powerful such that they use it to run many race cars. So what is the hold up on the technology if all it requires is a slightly altered system?
BioFuel Processor part 1

Best Alternative Energy Source – Biofuel from Algae
www.livinggreenchannel.com Algae is the fastest growing plant life, and as an organism it converts sunlight into oil, scientists theorize that Algal biofuel can produce a whopping 30 times more energy per acre than any other biofuel option. The US Department of Energy has estimated that if Algal Biofuel replaced all conventional fuel in the country, […]
Does the term biofuel make any sense?
Technically, all mass with potential energy must be organic, or biological in nature… Nothing has energy that wasn’t organic at some point in time. Technically, all fuel is biofuel, right?
