The company I work for is interested in using solar panels. What are the best resources on the web for info?
I think it is a great idea and would love for this company to get these panels. I am the sole person in charge of retrieving info though, and want to make a convincing argument. The owner wants a realistic number of how much it would cost to go solar powered. Also, we are located […]

Why isn’t more Wheatgrass used as a source for biofuel ?
I don’t get it – so much corn being used strips the world of it’s food supply, plus there is marginal farm land that could be used to grow Wheatgrass, and not corn, so that theoretically was being wasted, would be put to good use.

When will it be affordable for the average person to afford electric cars, and solar panels?
I hear on this site that, these are the answer to all our problems, problem is the average American can’t afford them. Yes they give you tax insentive’s, but at $100,000 an up a pop to make you’re house run on solar energy, it’s still a pipedream for most of us. Hybrid cars are what […]

How can we convince the minority that electricity is not “the” alternative fuel.?
Since the earth saving minority has a large voice I would like to know how can we convince them that making electricity is a huge polluter.Very little electricity is made by water power. We should all be pushing for the absolute clean fuel. Hydrogen. And yes I do know about it’s volitility.Oh, by the way. […]

Physics Practice Problem – A nuclear-fueled electric power plant utilizes a so-called “boiling water reactor”.?
This was a practice problem for a test review. A nuclear-fueled electric power plant utilizes a so-called “boiling water reactor”. In this type of reactor, nuclear energy causes water under pressure to boil at 283 °C (the temperature of the hot reservoir). After the steam does the work of turning the turbine of an electric […]
