‘THE MEN OF PIPER ALPHA’ analyses the horrific events of the world’s worst ever Offshore Oil and Gas Disaster with never seen before footage, reconstructions and interviews with survivors, family members and key industry figures. This feature length DVD pays tribute to the 167 men who lost their lives that night. ‘The Men Of Piper Alpha’ was made in order to ensure that the world can never be allowed to forget about the events of July 6th 1988 and the people who suffered. The producers of this film also wanted to ensure that the younger generation of today can be educated about the disaster itself.
