    First, technology Kevin Costner funded has been developed by the Oscar-winner’s scientist brother that can separate oil from water has been offered to help with the crisis. Then, this week, it was announced that director James Cameron sat in on meetings with scientists and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency, hoping some of the tech advances he used filming “The Abyss” and “Titanic” would help point the way to fixing the disaster.
