Is energy conservation a worthwhile pursuit?
Some partisans rejected calls to celebrate “Earth Hour” by turning off their lights and electrical equipment. Instead they celebrated “Human Achievement Hour and tried to use as much energy as possible. Was that a sensible course of action? Is the goal of energy conservation and improved efficiency worth making sacrifices to achieve?
Energy conservation as it relates to windmills?
Rows of wind-powered generators are used in various windy locations to generate electric power. Does the power generated affect the speed of the wind? Would locations behind the windmills be windier if the windmills weren’t there? Discuss this in terms of energy conservation.
What is a good energy conservation theme for banners, posters, etc.?
I am trying to come up with a theme for a company function having to do with energy conservation. We’re a utility co-op.
How to use the energy conservation law?
A ball with a mass of m=1kg is thrown vertically up with the initial speed of 40 m/s. Using the energy conservation law, find: (a) Maximum height reached by the ball. (b) Types and magnitudes of energy at starting point. (c) Types and magnitudes of energy at maximum height. (d) types and magnitudes of energy […]
If you were an environment researcher given funds to Energy Conservation what would an ultimate goal be?
On your research of Energy conservation?
What are the benefits of energy conservation in green buildings?
How energy conservation contribute towards green buildings?
Why do electric companies promote energy conservation?
My electric company runs advertisements promoting energy conservation, as well as ubiquitous inserts on energy saving in every monthly bill. For example, they urge consumers to use compact fluorescent light bulbs, turn down the thermostat, etc. This is NOT an energy co-op, it’s a for-profit corporation. And my former electric company in a different state […]

Using the law of conservation of energy to see how potential energy is converted into kinetic energy
What are some positive or negative human impacts on energy conservation?
Im writing a 1750 worded essay on energy conservation and this is part of it. Please help, ill really appreciate it.
Here is a question about the energy conservation in the Dirac sea model?
In the Dirac sea a particle-antiparticle couple can be created, and then annihilate in such a short time that the energy conservation principle is not violated. Say I have two photosensitive parallel plates placed in vacuum, and distance between them < < their size . If I wait for an infinite time, a couple of […]
Is this an unexplored solution to energy conservation?
Rather than pour all our money into energy exploration, new energy sources, technology, etc.; is it cheaper to make us all able to see in the dark? We have night vision technology, and medical and genetic technology has increased substantially over the past few years. Has anyone done any experimentation with lab rats to see […]

What are good ideas for thermal energy conservation?
I am doing homework, and my last page in the packet that I have to do is draw a picture or picture(s) with thermal energy conservation ideas. You guys got any good ones? Keep in mind, I’m 14, and not a very good artist. Give me something good.
Energy Conservation
Renewable energy technologies have come a long way. But public attitudes lag far behind.
energy conservation?¿?
1. The law of conservation of energy states that energy is neither created nor destroyed. What does this mean? 2. Why is the conservation of energy so important? Please Help!!!
