The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. @proyectomonterrey

I am pretty sure they must have put some ice or something on the top afterwards to show the heat

  2. Is the liquid/foam that can be seen near the end of the video condensation from the gasses?

  3. the outside of my insert at home is 600 + degrees, inside its over a thousand. does this stretch the wood? where is the generator?

  4. Its not there in the video. An alternator would have to be connected to the shaft of the turbocharger via a suitable reduction gear.

  5. see how far they can push it before it explodes in a famous fireball we can see 50 miles away.

  6. so where is the part that generates the electricity as mentioned in the description?

  7. cool but id need to carry an air tank and a cuting torch with me everywheere i go lol…. whats the main use for this turbo heateR?

  8. This was a demonstration of a idea for the starting point to create energy from waste materials. Point made was you need a fuel. After that they had to jump start the turbo to get the system started. The turbo was needed to provide the air to feed the fire. With out it your fire would not burn hot enough to generate the flow needed to spin up the turbo. Unless you started it on a gas. But now you getting into a dangerous area of explosive nature. I hope your drum don’t pop.

  9. You would have to gear it down, it’s turning at probably at least 10,000 RPM Turbo shaft powered aircraft or generators are always geared down, most any alternator or generator armature would fly apart at that speed.

  10. 1500 from wood? i know coal will go up there and higher for smithing, i never tried wood, do they use a hand crank blower or electric?

  11. i see no clear illustration as to the amount of energy transfered>>> i love the contraption still!!!! what is the power output? i might order one…

  12. i don’t know they do it ’cause they can… 1149 celsius thats pretty good for wood as fuel but i know some blacksmiths out there that use wood & can get higher yield than that to reach melting point of iron 1535 celsius

  13. someone tell me the purpose of placing a turbo on top of a big pressure cooker,

  14. Steam or combustion turbines can be built with a central rotating shaft that can connect to a generator; that’s how the steam turbines in most fossil or nuclear power plants work.

Closed carbon cycle, fuel you can grow yourself, little air pollution, waste heat useful for heating water or your house, energy you can sell back to the grid, and if the lights go out, just throw some wood in and fire her up…it’s a great idea for any country, including our own. No foreign oil, either.

  15. Okay folks, HHO is not an energy source. At 100% efficiency, it takes exactly as much energy to make the HHO as you get when you burn it. In the real world, you waste energy.

Now, electrlyzing water to make hydrogen could be usefus as a way to store energy from solar or wind power, or to indirectly power cars or other transportation from wind or solar, but it is not a primary energy source.

  16. i doubt something like that would have enough torque for a generator, unless it was geared down!

  17. Great Work but what a waste of energy hook you system up to an HHO generator and do it right serch youtube HHO this could be kick ass!

NT/6 Wood Burning Turbine Stove/Generator

NT/6 Highlights (proposed specifications) – self starting. – runs on wood, garbage or bio-mass (or anything else you can stuff into the combustor that burns and gives off good heat). – totally self sufficient – can be run in remote locations without gas or diesel fuel. – expected to produce around 2000W continuous. – DC output: 24V @ 80A – AC output: 120 – 240V @ 50-60Hz (AC output will depend upon battery and inverter capacity) – excellent source of warmth. – fuel wood consumption: TBA. – easy to maintain, (change the oil every few months) – reliable, turbos are simple and last a long time. More to follow. I have not begun working on the free turbine and generator system yet. (Too busy with other projects!) NOT MINE! CONTACT NTC for info!! Thanx
