The left minded theory about the military industrial complex is a theory actually taught in left wing colleges around the nation; so I guess you could say its a real theory.
Many “right wing” conspiracy types believe the left has not given up on communism. Elements of developing a communist American state would be the destruction of capitalism (insert national health care, nationalize energy production \ deliver, and tax the rich). Another element of inserting communism would be to open the borders (been there and done that almost minus some protest but its all quiet now), and finally the elimination of organized religion. Hence the link above – a key ingredient is to make religion an “extremist” point of view. If these law suits had merit would they not be accomplishing that part of the theory?
Sally; I think the “environmental” cause is just a leg in destroying capitalism; an essential element to installing socialism over the economy – a necessary element to a communist state.
