This hearing was the first of two hearings held in 2009 by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission specifically regarding San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station’s “culture of cover-up” and other management / worker problems at the plant, and the effect on safety. At the end of the hearing the public is allowed to speak, and Ace Hoffman, who had given out about 80 copies of his book THE CODE KILLERS that night, spoke last, except for one guy who was waiting for Ace to speak before speaking himself.
