It involves two bodies with different masses in a enviroment where outside forces due to gravity are neglible.
The smaller body, spherical in shape, is connected to a flat disc, resembling a compact disc inside the larger body (also spherical) by a small durable rod with mass that does not affect the system adversely.
The disc is suspended in the middle of the large body. And lips are used to ensure the planar tilt of the disc does not vary greatly without touching the metal rod.
However it is not in contact with any portion of the larger body.
Connected to the disc are two metal wires. When gravity causes the disc to spin, the wires will move with the disc. These wires are placed between two magnets, in such a way that the rotation caused by gravity produces an electric current, which is converted into power for a small light at the top of the larger body, (light’s mass is tiny compared to larger body’s mass) signalling the machine is working.
Will this work? Please state specifically why or why not.
Mathematical proof will help but is not required.
If this machine works, I feel I could convince NASA and other organizations to utilize it in space exploration, for powering such things like ion engines, or life support systems.
EMF is not self powered, it is by normal household bar magnets.
“not varing gratly means” to make sure rotation of the is does not twist above say a certain angle that might cause the disc to possibly break.
And sometimes masses just don’t matter at times. The light for example is on a very large sphere, meaning the actual light is not going to have an effect of the pull of gravity to the small ball.
