Threat Of More Power Outages Loom In NJ
It’s just the beginning of this week-long heat wave and utilities are already asking customers to cut back on electricity and water usage. And water restrictions are already in effect in some parts of our area. As the temperature went up Monday the power went out in Summit, N.J., and panic set in. As many as 17,000 Jersey Central Power and Light customers in Union County were left in the dark.
