I am sixteen years old and wish to volunteer helping with the clean up with the oil spill. Problem is, I can’t find anyone that accepts volunteers under eighteen. Please help me, I wish to do my part!

get a fakeid or just lie. there should be no reason you shouldnt be allowed i wish there were thousands more like you
You don’t have the training to handle hazardous materials. Nor the experience. You need your HAZWOPER 40 hour training, training in personal protective equipment, experience with dangerous situations. And that’s just the start. Then there’s the next paragraph.
We appreciate the offer, but there’s 26,000 people down along the coast working on this. And most of them are sleeping 8 people to a single hotel room, working 16 hour days in greater than 100 degree heat index weather. It’s not something you can just jump into.
