The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. You absolutely do not need a battery with a fuel cell, but you do need a hydrogen tank (fuel cells generate electricity from hydrogen).

However, I doubt this is a fuel cell scooter, as they are experimental and very expensive at this point. It must be an electric scooter, in which case the battery is quite necessary. Perhaps it could be a battery-hydrogen hybrid system, but that seems like overkill for a scooter, especially a battery that size in a hybrid.

The NiMH battery is much lighter per kwH than a lead-acid battery is, but not as light as a Lithium-ion. Unfortunately, li-ion batteries are quite expensive, and need precautions to be safe in large formats like that.

  2. A fuel cell produces electrical energy from hydrogen. Evidently, it doesn’t produce enough energy to power the scooter, so it must be stored in a battery.
Needs a hydrogen storage, so too much stuff for a scooter.
Why not just use solar cell and a battery?

Do you need battery on hydrogen fuel cell scooter?

I’ve read an article about hydrogen fuel cell scooter and it has a 125V NiMH battery that weight 80kg.
but,do you really need it?cause it’s so heavy for a scooter.
is there any replaceable for the battery so the scooter will be lighter?
thank you for your answer..
