  1. ppl think they need a fucking crossover to carry a family of four and their cargo? what a waste. a crossover gets aproximently 30 percent shittier mileage than say, a mid-sized car, which is perfectly capable of hauling a family of four. I grew up in a family of 5 and we drove a COROLLA!! they should’be made a fuel cell malibu instead of a large, hydrogen wasting crossover. ppl think becuz it doesn’t have a gas engine, they can waste as much energy as they want.

  2. Someone should make a chainsaw that runs on hydrogen, or lawnmower. It would be about 10x less heavy and 20x more quiet.

  3. All tension aside, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I’m an artist; I don’t know much about cars yet, but I’d like to someday. That way i could diagnose and repair on my own, and not rely on dealership rip offs. I’m in college for graphic design now, but I’ll study my vehicles eventually. Thanks for helping!

  4. also its not an obsession. im studying to be a mechenical engineer in the field of Designing cars

  5. ok first off being resourceful wouldnt be running to youtube. and if the manual isnt detailed enough CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND HAVE IT TOWED

  6. Also, the dealership didn’t even know what was wrong for the past few days. They finally discovered it was a battery shortage, and has replaced it. And unlike you, i can run to Youyube for my problems because I’m very resourceful. The problems been solved. It doesn’t matter how it was solved. Case closed!

  7. You’re excused for your obsession with vehicles, eventhough the main point of having them is TRANSPORTATION! The manual wasn’t DETAILED ENOUGH.

  8. ok…….who said i was drooling over it. and excuse me for knowing my cars and how they work instead of being a stupid fuck and not reading the manual if i needed to kno sumthin instead of goin to youtube for my problems

  9. Umm, excuse me for operating one for the first time, and trying out all the features in spare time instead of risking doing it while driving. It’s not dumb because IT WAS NEW TO ME! THAT MEANS I HAVEN’T BEEN DROOLING OVER IT LIKE YOU! Also, where I live (South Dekalb, GA) There aren’t very many hydrogen stations. Being staright from the dealership, i’d have expected it to have no problems. I’m no mechanic either. I just need a good vehicle. It has a warranty anyways.

  10. the prius actually will cause more pollution to the earth than an SUV in 50 yrs. the Prius’s battery pack has to be disposed of once its no longer usable…think about all those prius’s on the road rite now……..thats alot of batteries

  11. first off that would be dumb to let that happen and its like a gas car. go to a hydrogen station to fill ur car up. Its not electric. ITS WATER

  12. If your equinox is completely drained of power, to point where our key is stuck in the ignition and nothing operates ( not even the locks and alarm), is there a way to recharge it at your home while it’s in your garage?

  13. fat, blubber whale, needs a ute or suv to move her, what a bias pro oil doc. chuck time at the feeding trough, pass the big mac momma

  14. how much less does the fuel cost is the big question, me I’d rather get a prius

  15. Are the connections of the nozzle to the input part of the car being made to work with all potential Hydrogen vehicles or are all manufacturers going reak havoc by creating their own design? GO Hydrogen! Mass Market it!

Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell Vehicle – Kelley Blue Book’s Review

FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS CHECK OUT: www.kbb.com As global warming concerns and emission standards threaten vehicle production in the United States, General Motors is exhaustively researching alternative-fuel technologies, including Hydrogen Fuel Cells. A fuel cell creates electricity to power an electric motor via an electrochemical reaction, utilizing Hydrogen (created from water through electrolysis). GM has chosen to showcase its Hydrogen Fuel Cell system in its crossover SUV, the Chevrolet Equinox — bucking the anti-SUV trend by creating a vehicle that can carry the entire family and its cargo all while emitting nothing but water from the tailpipe. Currently Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell Vehicles are only available through the Project Driveway Program — a user trial designed to collect as much information as possible from drivers and onboard data collectors. GM hopes to use this data to one day incorporate Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology into other vehicles.
