Osha inspectors nightmare.
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Electricity Generation, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
This is a cool shot too. Must have a pick-up truck to stand on. :)
I used to sell to a lot of industry, so this is a familiar sight for me, and it’s always nice when it’s crisp and colorful sky.
Instead we have hills, look ma no truck! What did you sell?
Bolts, fluid power, cutting tools… supplies. :)
Did you sell and deliver both yourself?
Those are peaking units. A peaking unit is a turbine-generator powered by natural gas, or oil and usually operates when there’s a surge in demand for electricity, and the main baseload power plants can’t supply enough electricity. They can be built at major substations, or at baseload plants. These must be the ones at the TVA’s Cumberland Plant.
I take that back. That isn’t TVA’s Cumberland Plant. Cumberland’s smokestacks are much higher than those. That must be Widows Creek, Colbert, or Gallatin. Then again I could be wrong.
Here are a couple more in other places in my stream you may not have found:

Really like the color and lines in this. Very sharp.
Thank You Lisa. I compressed the bright/contrast midtones when I did this one. Also has an the orton effect that you told me about.
All this machinery making modern music can still be open hearted.
