Question by blah: Nuclear power?
I want to know what people think about using nuclear power as a main power source in the u.s. why are people so against it? i know the waste can be used to create weapons but nuclear power is now so efficient that there is hardly any waste. It is a clean source, and it powers at least 2/3 of France, as well as many other nations. Lastly I know there have been instances such as 3 mile island and chernobyl which created mass amounts of radiation and ruined lives, but the they technology has changed and now the nuclear power plants are safe. So then why are people so opposed?
