Do dryers have permanent magnet motors? What about a washer? How much power will they make as a generator and how many hp should i use to drive it?

No to both. You will be hard pressed to find any motor that had permanent magnets anymore. The last one I saw was in a Radio Shack experiment kit 55 years ago.
