I need some information about the past of the BP oil spill; specifically, what BP has done to tackle the crisis. I have heard some shady details – that they originally tried to “dilute” the crisis by shoveling in as many things as they could; another is that they are using some sort of acid that dissolves the oil, but is also incredibly harmful for the environment. What were the details of the methods I mentioned before? Also, what other failed methods did BP use to try and stop the crisis?
