Question by gws35: If 0bama was calling the shots from the beginning, why didn’t he order Top Kill from the beginning?
Yesterday, when it appeared Top Kill would be successful at halting the biggest oil spill in history, the president made the startling announcement that he was in charge. In fact, he declared that he had been calling the shots from the beginning.
Notwithstanding the fact that this contradicts every public statement he had made up to that point, this announcement raises a new question: if that’s so, then why did he wait for the oil spill to become the worst oil spill in history before he ordered Top Kill?

If Obama was in charge all along, that means he can’t blame BP anymore.
