  1. @1r0ns1d3 You doubt. Would you suggest that the pressure plug be forgotten? Obviously not! As the trial goes on- the trial about BPs’ criminal negligence- I shall form a 200ft long Mighty Scepter made of Gods Iron to be used ( by force, if neccessary) by the Eonitao Empire if this kind oil company boobery happens again. Are you with me? (welders needed)

  2. Yes of course it could have been stopped at anytime. Any oil company is going to want to lose millions of gallons of oil whist being simultaneously dragged through the media.

  3. We should make a 200 ft long pressure plug and make a kind of museum for it.

Reply if you are in favor of such a museum.

BP could have used a “pressure plug” to stop the oil

After announcing the sale of their Colombian assets earlier on Monday, BP (NYSE:BP) began testing what they believe will be the ultimate solution to the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The test went well as BP started pumping drilling mud later in the day as part of the static kill operations. According to BP, all operations are being guided and approved by the National Incident Commander The procedure complements BP’s other efforts in plugging the oil spill. BP is currently trading 1.47% higher at .00.
