  1. OH GOD I hope that’s not true……I’m checking that right now. That would be a bonehead move if I ever saw one. Did you know that we also give Russia roughly 10.7 BILLION dollars annually in foreign aid for some strange reason!

  2. Where does it say they can’t?

If there is no law restricting it then there is no way to prohibit it once its scheduled to happen.
Possibly they could write law for the future, but it wouldn’t have an effect on past agreements.

We do business with a lot of marginal people. Russia isn’t our enemy anymore.

    The USSR dissolved years ago.

  3. I hate to answer with a question, but are you sure? This isn’t just tabloid stuff? The USSR is really not what it seems today, some people don ‘t just don’t have the true facts, internet is not the best source for quality info.

I thought the USSR fell back in the late 1980’s. How exactly is this a national security issue?

Perhaps they will create some jobs. Apparently none of our US mining companies are interested. Look at the “free market” Republicans protesting. Meanwhile with the scheduled moth balling of the space program, we are going to rely on the Russians to launch all of our satellites. Did the Republicans in congress protest?
