yes and pay attention for black slimy stuff falling from the sky. try not to inhale. hold your breath as much as possible. dont breath at all if you can keep from it.
There is No way to cap this. It’s gona flow like this for yrs. ( & I mean yrs as in 50-60 yrs) If the world last that long that is.
@jamesalexandershow Too easy.
they can’t cap this thing and stop the flow.
The pipe is broken bellow ground at about one mile further down.
That is why they need to drill a second shaft bellow the broken pipe and
than seal the current pipe 1.5 mile bellow sea ground level.
This will be the last attempt made before needing to use nukes.
At this point the oil is not the main concern. The gasses released into the air is.
@wicklum420 Yes they can but they don’t want to I guess.
they cant cap this no more than you could cap a fire hose.
I was thinking the same thing. Now that the dumb idea is gone, cut the bolts and put a real cap on that thing. We can always come back later, tap into a release valve and pipe the oil to the surface on a flex line.
@jamesalexandershow They should measure the flow rate while this thing is off. Un bolt the !@#$ing flange bolt and cap the dang thing already.
Back to the drawing board again?
