  4. Dude you need to control the total air consumption as well as fuel to air ratio to be able to change engine speed or “throttle up ” something like the butterfly valve in the throat of the original carb, notice even fuel injected engines have air control valves
    or a throttle body. ignition curve is largely irrelevant optimizing it would optimize power output but control the air and you’ll control the speed, some chainsaw coils have a built in advance curve. pretty cool. Good luck.

  7. not that it matters.. but I believe that engine is from a snowblower or some sort of a coldweather application due to the lack of a air filter.

  9. So, how do you attach the hho generator? I am making mine now, I have a 5hp techumseh that I am using for a water powered gokart or minibike. But not familiar with how to set up the throttle. Should I just add the hho generator to the engine or should I forget about gas alltogether?

  11. Pure hydrogen isn’t a very good motor fuel- it takes more hydrogen to make the same amount of power than with any other fuel. However, wood gas (hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide) has an energy density quite similar to natural gas and can be made quite easily- the technology was invented in Germany as a way to power their vehicles during fuel shortages.

Hopefully some day you could make the hydrogen gas on demand, using electrolysis. If I could recommend anything It would be a back draft prevention system of some type. All in all, great work sir.

  14. like your rig. simple. hydrogen gets in, air ventures through carburetor intake; mixes on the way in; plug sparks, all works. they do say modify the spark timing, coldn’t tell which way though; hydrogen flashes really fast, intake valve should be closed by then; would be cool to see more

    .. you cant really produce enough hho to run an engine with load … my be it could sustain idle speed .. If calculate the input and output ratio ….. lot of energy is needed to produce hho…. you will run out of battery charge soon nearly10amp is needed to make decent hho production “considering input (current) and output (hho) we are wasting energy “

  19. coz auxi is basically for Oxy not for any other gas. 6. don’t use two fuels at a time…both are having diff. octane numbers. That will show u lag. 7. the bubbler is bit small due to that ur gas is bit moist which is cozing lean mixture so the side effect is off bit. But over all nice try. good one…keep changing the config for better result and performance. good luck

  20. 1. Change the amp hr. so u will get fast production of Hydro-Gas. Since the electrolysis process is very slow so you are not getting enough gas.
    2. Use rectifier to step up the current. 3. there is one chemical which u can use for fast n high hydro from water( i forgot the name) 4. dont connect the hydro gas tube to auxi intake. instead of decreasing the pollution u r infact increasing. 5. Use LPG gas intake manifold at carb that will also help u to tune the carb.

    No modification is made to the engine. At this time we cannot give you detailed description on how the system works. Misfiring had happened. But some valves are there to control the flow.

  22. @arunarun4 : ok 15- 25 is really good! but since its a combustible gas does it not alter the firing? does it misfire, any modifications u guys made to the engine? The HHO pipe is put to the air filter , will it not suck all the gas available, any valve to regulate flow of HHO?

    The km/lr can actually increase from 15 to 25%. The bike need petrol to run. HHO is added as an addictive.

  29. amazing project brother …..i was thinkin of working on a parallel twin for my final year project ….but u have made me think otherwise …..after proper tuning how would you rate the power feel of the bike as u probably wont have exact figures….

Hydrogen Powered Small Engine

3HP Tecumseh engine converted from gasoline operation to Hydrogen gas operation.

This is our new project to run Bullet with hydrogen power. The gas (HHO) is produced from water by splitting the structure of water (H2O) to HHO(brown gas / hydroxy gas). The gas mixes with fuel in the engine and creates a better combustion leaving no carbon which gives a clean exhaust and makes the environment green. This process also increases the power and mileage of the vehicle and also increases the engine life. On testing we got an extra 8 – 10 kmpl. More research and design improvements has to be done.
