Really if we put everything into solar research and electricity storage, paird with the national grid idea we would be a lot better off.
The other day I boiled two cups of water just paying around with the solar dish that fell off my roof. I covered it with mirror vinyl sheets.
The sun can deliver up to 1k watt/m^2. We would only need a squared killometer to get a at most gigawatt hour of power for approx six hours a day from one geographical area. 6 gigawatts on a sunnny day total.
@kevindblanch hey thanks for the personal response. ya they need to at least use yacca mt. i just mean that certian materials in the mt. might become critical inside either bye the salt squeezing it or some geological event. i personally think anywhere on or in the earth still isnt good enough. we should blast that shit out into space.

The UK did studies on silver and they determined that silver kills cancer cells better than chemotherapy. Other supplments like Iridium and Ruthenium also kill cancer cells. I would stock up on these supplements to minimize the radiation attack.

the salt mine/domes seem like a good idea but it would slowy squish the stuff. and thats basicly how the bombs are set off by squishing the material together in implosion type or gun type bombs

I just looked that up on Wikipedia real quick and they have an article that says that the facility is now up and running and that it will be accepting waste for the next 25 to 35 years. Estimated cost -> a grand total of 19 billion dollars (ouch!). No mention of the place leaking radiation though.

People are still suffering the effects from Chernobyl. All over Europe the fallout has been liked to illness and death. The Russians are still in denial, I was going to comment on the protests but realized the US is the same way.

The Japanese government claims they are on a road to recovery, they even claim people will be able to move back to fukushima. This statement is non-sense. I remember when the accident first happened, the government was telling people within 10 km of the plant to “stay inside, dont run your air conditioner, dont hang dirty laundry out to dry, and just wait the radiation out.” Of course the actions proposed by the government were a death sentence to anyone who listened.
@hearv888 nuclear power is expensive, dirty, and dangerous. Nor is it needed. The answers to the energy problem have been around for a long time. use bloombox technology to decentralize the power grid then implement, hydrogen, solar, wind, energy conservation, and geothermal. I saw a news report from fox news, they said radiation is good for you. Radiation causes cancer and damages the gene pool. soon all those who believe it’s good for you will find out otherwise
