What does the code P0014 indicate in a 2006 Saturn Ion 3, with a 2.4 engine?

Question by Jamie M: What does the code P0014 indicate in a 2006 Saturn Ion 3, with a 2.4 engine?
This is the code that is showing up on the computer. Does anyone know what it indicates? I read that it may be a VCP system error. Any clue as to what that is?
Yes, my check engine light is on.
No, I have not had any work done recently. The car had a 3 yr, 36,000 mi warranty, which has expired. I have around 44,000 mi now.

Is your check engine light on? Normally those codes have to do with your emissions system. There are like 16 different sensors that can set a code. Anything from a loose gas cap, bad gas, to clogged egr valve, etc. The best thing to do is call a shop.
