We recently put a geothermal setup in a 28 bedroom ranch and we are using ethenol as the liquid running through a series of pipes and collect the heat with super heaters and heat up the domestic water with a heat exchanger and also heat the ranch with radiant heat.We also collect the cool and store it in an ice battery to cool the ranch. we use ethenol because if we used water it would freeze do to the battery cap temps. are at 24 degrees. What other thin liquid can we use besides ethonal?
