  1. My 1993 GS300 lesser dash speedometer hands that are red, are blinking and out in sections. What can I do about it?

  2. 1 more question,(hope im not being a pest)its starting to smoke when i start it & sometimes while im driving. wha are some of known problems that may case this to happen. my mechanic said i need to replace the timing belt.

  3. These are great cars. The best way to find anything is through the web. Ebay could be your best bet! Good luck

  4. thx a million, brought a 93sc 400 back in october. it had 150,000 miles on it,it needs work & im willin 2 do as much as i can. do u kno where i can find a driver’s side door panel 4 less than $200???

  5. That I do not know. Bulbs can be purchased at the dealership. I like the folks at Bell Lexus in arizona ask for the Internet parts department. They could tell you if they have LEDs for them.

  6. Can you replace all the bulbs with LED’s. If so what are the sizes and amounts of each that you need? And also where do you purchase them from? I thank you for your time and input in advance.

  7. I know right and it gets real shitty when u have to only put premium as it only gets 16 mpg city, and premium now is like what almost $5 a gallon!!! Honda’s looks pretty good to me right now.

  8. Hey thanks for these vids they are really helpful can u put a video on how to repair a sunroof

  9. Sorry late getting back to you on this. Steering pump was pretty straight forward. It just took that one to the Toyota del ear and had them put it in. As for the starter. Crazy hard. At least it was for me. Stupid me I started on it, cracked the fuel line to drain the thing then realized as the fumes were building up I was 10 feet away from the gas water heater in the garage. You have to take the top of the engine off to get to it. If you have the time go for it. If not your local garage

  10. mine is doing really well. I put in new radiator, it complains when you don’t put in premium. Just listen to what it wants. always check the oil. simple little things keep it going. it is the best car I have ever had.

  11. I hear ya. I’m fascinated by them too. In fact, I’m in the market for one right now. I’ll post my find.. Let me know how your makin’ out with yours.

  12. How you like it? I think they’re one of the most bitchin’ rides ever made.

  13. The Lexus coup, be the 300 or 400, are the most beautifulest cars, outside of Jaguars, ever made. I’m currently on the market for one as the Coup has always been my dream car. I think I’m going to lean towards the 400. No sense on getting the 300 just to gain a few extra miles on gas…I know that these coups are notorious for bad power str. pumps, which in turn, leak fluid into the alt. killing it as well. How hard is this job. Do you have anything on this? What about the starter? great videos!

  14. That’s a new one for me. sounds like either a fuse blew or when replacing the battery you have some how pinched a wire to the ground which now completes a circuit. Unplug the battery and pull it looking for any damage to the harness.

  15. Hey I have a 92 sc400 and I just replaced the battery but now the headlights stay on when the switch is turned to off and there’s a constant beeping coming from the inside of the car even with the doors closed/locked. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks

  16. The good thing about Lexus is things are pretty easy to get to. Under the hood I believe on the right side of the car is the fuse box. Just pen it up and the diagram should tell you which fuse is which. If not the manual in the glove box will. Sorry I can’t be more specific. I’m no where near the car right now.

Fix a 1993 Lexus SC400 Dash Light Bulb Replacement

I’m changing it up this week and showing you how to replace a light bulb in my 1993 Lexus SC400. This is a simple project, however more difficult to get the correct bulb. The Lexus parts book is correct or wasn’t for me. The bulb comes separate from the holder which in this case was green. There are black ones that are smaller bulbs and matched the size I received from Lexus. My suggestions is to order both then take what you don’t need back. They are about .00. We don’t have a Lexus dealer in town so for something to do I drove 75 miles each way to pick one up.
