12. Actually it would be better described as a magnetic motor. All electric motors rely on magnetism. Leaving out semantics, the name is close enough and of airtight theory. I’ve built many motors like this before using a battery, magnet, wire, and paperclips. (And a rubber band to hold it together.)

21. Ok but I was referring to a magnet compared to an electromagnet – force and weight. If the motor you speak of were built with electromagnets in place of the permanent magnets to produce the same work, it would be lighter.
