Question by dc12volthippy: How do we save the U.S. from oil and polution and conserve energy?
I have a few ideas:
Drive biodiesel cars
Drive electric cars(also advance battery tech)
Drive biodiesel-electric hybrid cars(I just thought of that)
Drive hydrogen cars
Use solar panel technology on a HUGE scale(like a ton of roofs)
Use hydroelectric power
Use wind power
Use high-power L.E.D’s instead of incandescents or fluorescents (they can be REALLY bright and use 1/10 the power of stupid incandescents)
Any more ideas?
I never said ethanol, which is not efficient.

how about becoming a vegetarian?
a cow produces more greenhouse gases then a regular small car. (with processing and transportation included)
also, you said nothing about the most important topic-
REDUCE! the best way to conserve energy is not using it at all when unnecessary.(say, open a window instead of turning on the AC
ALSO- the only fuel efficient bio-desil is enonal from corn STALKS and not corn itself. ethonal from corn is not effiecent.

You scare the life out of everybody, by inventing a boogyman, and claim that if you do not do what I say, your children will die.
Electric cars are available right now, and there are quite a few to choose from. If you have the money, you could be driving an electric sports car that can out-accelerate a Ferrari. Or a new electric pickup truck that has batteries that never need replacing, and can charge in ten minutes.
