The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. it entirely depends on where you live, some places have what is known as primary treatment which is done by letting the sewage settle for a long period until lighter substances like oil and other greases rise to the top and are skimmed off. there is also secondary treatment which is used in many places but not all, here bacteria is used to ingest the parts of the sewage such as human waste and soaps which degrades them.

most places only use up to secondary treatment then dump the waste into the ocean or a river that feeds into the ocean counting on the ocean’s “assimilative capacity”

there is however a further level called tertiary treatment which uses UV lights to kill pretty much anything harmful in the waste before once again releasing it into the ocean.

What happens to human waste when we flush it?

I’m under the impression that it goes to the sewers, correct?

Well.. from there where does it go? Into the ocean? Is it somehow…recycled?
sorry… that was me two years ago. I felt the need to ask it again. Next.
