The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. You guys have so much technological toys in your hands that you become
picky and whine even with the most insignificant things… These so called
new green technologies must be explored deeper before we can securely
spread them to public, in effective ways.

  2. My I ask what the official name of your job is? Cause I like computers a
lot and want to become a Computer Engineer, but your job looks like a lot
    of fun. XD

  3. Oooh Mista Linus gettin’ steamy in dis mudduphucka!

Basically, you don’t fk wit’ dis white boyee!

  4. STAY AWAY: these guys are not being honest. The cores will only charge a
regular iphone 3 or 4 times then they are dead until you can buy another
one or buy a hydrogen charging station for over £300, so thats £140 for the
reactor (with 2 cores), £12 per additional core and then another £300 for
the charging station. Think thats bad enough, I havent even begun to state
that the tech is untested, the descriptions and figures are misleading and
condradict each other, they over rate the amps and power capacity. For
example Brunton say it outputs 2amp charge but on the packaging they state
1amp yet in reality its less that 0.4amps and is too small a charge flow to
even be able to begin charging most devices. Plug an ipad into it with a
completely full core and you simply get “not charging” on the ipad screen
this is the same with most high capacity smartphones.

This is misleading, expensive, virtually unusable and bad for consumers. In
the future we will rely on tech like this but at the moment most consumers
will invest, have a bad experience, then go off and bad mouth hydrogen
power and everyone will run a mile from it. This tech is not ready yet and
Brunton are basically selling products that are still in testing stage,
even worse they are selling them at excrutiatingly high prices that will
seal the nail in the coffin and make it very hard for future pioneers of
the technology to sell their products even when they are perfected. Please
stay away from it at the moment and do not let them pull the wool over your
eyes people, this is not ready for consumer use and will not perform as you
    expect it too.

Oh and there are also reports coming through regarding Bruntons so called
treat it like its indestructable guarantee not being worth the paper its
written on. They promise to replace items that are “underperforming when
buyers compare the item to Bruntons spec / stats”, there is no offers of
refunds. Customers are simply being told we will send you a replacement,
then are left waiting for weeks if not months with no sign of any
replacement product and no communication from Brunton. Some consumers have
reported waiting over a month and sending numerous emails just to be
    totally ignored.

I do not usually go to lengths like this opposing green products but like I
have said this is damaging to the technology and will ensure a bad
experience for consumers who purchase the products. Please save your money
and wait till the tech is perfected and capable of doing what it is
intended for and until the prices begin to fall and become reasonable for a
    mobile power device.

Thanks for reading, feel free to contact me via my channel should you wish
    to discuss.

  5. Wait.. So the battery is 0.4amps, but is really 2.4amps, but is actually
2amps, but (wait there’s more!) is ACTUALLY 1amp. one word for you Brunton.
    MINDFUCK.

  6. Bit late to the party on this one as I only saw it for the first time in a
store today. Though my own research came to similar conclusions as this
video. All in all it is a tech in it’s infancy that some companies are
trying to cash in on with lot’s of fancy terms to draw folks in with. I’m
glad you did a direct comparison with power packs on weight/output etc, but
you did forget one final thing that for me really puts the nail in this
    products coffin.

Even if you go ahead and spend the $400 needed for a full reactor and
recharging station, you still need power to make the station work. The most
likely option will be a home desk mount where you charge your cells before
going away and then charge them upon returning home, this sounds wonderful
until folks understand one minor fact. A battery pack operates in exactly
the same way, I plug it into my pc the night before a trip to charge, and
then do the same to again charge it when I get home. So this hydrogen
method still requires the same if not more electricity from a mains/battery
supply as the battery pack method, in no way is it any greener than the
cheaper/lighter/smaller/more powerful alternative we already have.

  7. Okay it’s true that most of his videos are computer tech related,
however, I swear, Linus is a god on anything in the electrical, and
computer engineering fields. He has videos ranging from RC cars, to
photography, to everything computer related, to even something like this –
fucking hydrogen reactor fuel cells lol. Take almost everything talked
about on VSauce, make all that into a person, and you get Linus. He has got
to have an IQ up near 180 or something, it’s like he is a field
manual+encyclopedia of every engineering branch and their sub-branches.

  8. I mean, if you could make the whole process of the fuel stick thing mobile,
ditch the sticks and make a resevoir that you could pour water in it would
be 10x better. but making it run on pee would be >9000x better.

  9. You should see the factory in China where Brunton makes all this crappy
stuff. Stand around outside long enough and you will die of cancer. Stay
around a bit longer and someone will jump off the building a commit
suicide. All so middle class American white guys can watch Youtube videos
on the shitter at work. ‘Murica!

  10. I always wanted to work with hydrogen fuel cells but after seeing the
advert for one of these in Maplins I honestly cant understand what
advantage this has over a Lithium rechargable in terms of size, weight and
    power.

  11. This sounds like blatant false advertising. They have a ton of lawsuits
coming if they aren’t already being sued…

  12. Anyone know why my CPU voltage is soo high. Intel i7 4770k at 4ghz using
1.280V. I can’t over clock it anymore. It always freezes!!

  13. You know what I think would be a useful product? Have you ever had to go
somewhere and realise your phone isn’t charged, but there’s no time to wait
for it to charge? What I’d really like is some sort of battery bank with a
supercapacitor inside that you hook up to, say, a 250 watt power supply. It
charges almost immediately, and you can then use that cap to charge your
phone. I’d like that. That’d be useful.

  14. Added, based upon your review i will avoid this product. They lost a sale
and i view their other products as suspect.
To fix they need to sell recharge station for $150 which may itself be tooo
    much.

  15. Try to review the machine that will turn dog poop into power. I saw it on
TV, it was some kind of inventors show.

  16. when they stop making lithium ion portable chargers thats when ill buy a
hydrogen charger. that or ill buy a rock and hide beneath it.
