  1. Great video! Thank you so much for this. I learned alot. I am planning on
moving out to the country and will have to use solar/wind power. I am so
glad I found your website/youtube channel. Can you ship to Montana?

  2. Nice video, I want to upgrade mine this summer if there is time with the
new PMG Its big so I think I will need a new mount as well. Thank you for
taking the time to do the videos.

  3. You guys are great, so informative with a touch of humor. I am saving money
to buy wind turbines and solar panels in the very near future. Because of
your videos I am certain that I will buy from Missouri Wind and Solar.

  4. Great video! Crazy to buy from somebody else. Great customer service and
honest answers to my questions. You can’t put a price on that.

  5. You put out some nice informative videos. I was going to ask what you
thought about storing batteries in water but you answered that too.

  6. I had to take a second look at the title because it sounds like you are
    interviewing him for a job…hehe

  7. Jeff: I want to set up 4 deep cycle batts in Garage and charge with 4, 100
    watt panels.
The distance from panel to charge controller is about 25 feet, another 3
feet to battery and Inverter.. My question, what size wire would I need to
run 25 feet to controller? thanks… size for 12 volt or 24 volt. thanks.

  8. This was very helpful Jeff! Especially given what happened last week. :)
I’m very excited to shoot a video for ya!

  9. 2 great guys, I’ve met them both. Can’t get better support then with
    mwands. olllllllllo

  10. Hi Jeff, great video, very informative on batteries… I had done a great
deal of research before starting my project. (You have the absolute best
YouTube information available BTW). I did know about properly housing the
batteries and I use a closet next to my Hot Water heater (very convenient
for my diversion load) Yes it’s important to keep them at a stable
operation temperature and also “well vented”. I had done some alternative
power in the past but nothing to the scale I am now working on. Thank you
for sharing what you know with the rest of us. And for anyone considering
something like this “I recommend highly that you subscribe to this channel
and watch every relevant video Jeff has posted. As a Missouri Wind and
Solar customer I also stand by my comments in the past that they are an
awesome company to deal with”. And that’s my two cents…

  11. Good information on batteries, All good info. Thanks for your time in
    making the video.. :)

  12. WOW ! best vidieo yet , we would have asked a lot of these ? if we did not
subscribe, however…… did not cover protecting battery banks from baby
goat infiltration and urination, guess we will have to get a cooler with a
vent and a dc 12 v fan. 3 points determine a plane do not use an
alternator with 2 point mounts and a shakey pole…………. weget it from
so far back in the woods of rural VA.

  13. Good stuff. Thanks. Question; If the wind picks up to 40 or 50 mph what
happens to the wind turbine and what do I need to do?

  14. Thank you for these great videos. If you see my comments elsewhere please
disregard them you just answered with this video.

  15. “Birds are genetically prone to look ahead”. XD 15:50 Awesome answer.
    Excellent video.

  16. Hello Jeff, David Stewart here. First of all it doesn’t surprise me that a
higher output then input energy inventor has decided to go to you with his
invention. You do seem like a man who is doing all your helpful work for
the common good, so you give an impression of trust and integrity. With
that in mind i would like to run an idea by you that has been in my mind
for a long time but I’ve never known where to go with it so i would love to
hear your opinion even if it is to discount my idea. My idea basically
goes like this. I love the idea of solar power but where i live the weather
is not great for solar. Given the position of my house and potential
shading i began to think of a way to overcome this problem. To no avail.
However on a very sunny day i was showing my nephew a trick with a
magnifying glass when all of a sudden my idea arrived. I wondered what if i
had a magnifying glass dome sticking out of the top of my apex roof with a
360 degrees view of the sky, so no matter where the sun was the magnifying
glass dome would catch its most powerful photons. These photons of light
would first of all be magnified then transfered from the dome with the use
of fiber optic cables to a solar panel power station inside the attic. An
area of the attic sectioned off and whited out for efficient light
reflection. The fibre optic cables coming into the roof would then be
strategically positioned with the light emitting from smaller magnifying
glass domes in a way that the solar panels world get the most efficient
levels of photons. Now Jeff i don’t know how viable this idea is but think
of the advantages if it is viable. First of all the sun’s rays could be
picked up from anywhere in the sky via the 360 degrees magnifying glass
dome and Brought to the solar panels which would be inside rather than
outside eliminating weathering damage, vastly reducing maintenance,
eradicating unsightly panels from the roof ‘unsightly for some’ i might
add. There are health and safety benefits to this kind of installation to.
This is my idea Jeff. I would love to hear your opinion on this and discuss
it in further detail if you find any merit in it. Thanks David
