A cool thing to do with this is to put a long fuse on a balloon, light it
and let it go and blow up in the sky at night
The reaction shown in this video is actually the reaction of aluminium (not
aluminum) with chlorine. This reaction produces aluminium trichloride, the
salt of aluminium. The hydrogen gas is in fact a byproduct of the reaction.
The equation that describes the reaction shown is the following:
HCl + Al = AlCl3 + H
In other words, hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid, HCl) reacts with
aluminium (Al) to leave behind aluminium trichloride (AlCl3) and hydrogen
gas (H).
Can you show a video where you put this gas in a rubber balloon and tie a
bit of fuse to it… Light it and release it at night and it’ll be like a
sort of firework, i think it would look awesome
I did this, and when it does it for like 5 mins the water gets pushed back
up the tube into the acid beaker?
where did you get your flask and stopper? I’ve found loads of flasks but i
can’t seem to find any with stoppers to go along..
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to use electrolysis to produce oxy-hydrogen?
What if you placed a non-heat resistant glass bottle in cold water, would
that work to prevent shattering?
Where do you live?
This is awesome! i was wondering, could the system work in a similar way,
but for different purposes, to extract Co2? With different ingredients to
create it of course.
is there anyway i could put that hydrogen into an empty propane tank?
so… if i had a hydrogen driven motor of some sort i could just fill the
tank with acid and foil and run the gass through a water filter?
Hydrogen+Oxygen will blast even better;))
Why do you have to mix the hydrochloric acid with water?
If you want to get the best Plans to convert your car to run as Hybrid
Hydrogen
and save hundreds of dollars on your fuel expense
there is a mechanic from Detroit that tested these car kits conversions
Just go to Google and search for: *Top HHO Gas Car Research*

You could also mix muriatic acid, caustic soda, and hydrogen chloride to
make this gas.
WE CAN BE FUTURISTIC AND MAKE FLYING CARS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could a hydrogen gas-powered flamethrower be made if the hydrogen was
pressurized in some type of tank?
you coupd also electrolisis i think its called to seperate oxygen from
hydrogen in water
Instead of Aluminum add Zinc (melting it from modern 1 penny coins) ;)))
Want to have really good blast? —Fill the balloons with mixture of Oxygen
and Propane, then attach them together with Helium(or Hydrogen) filled
balloons…then use small cotton rope soaked into water emulsion of KNO3(or
any other nitrate fertilizer) and then dried…let the balloons fly and
burn the rope;))) The best fireworks ever you’ll see!
dose it have to be 3/8 tube and 1/4 tube
can i use NaOH too? if so, what are the measurements? (its not pure its
about 5%)
Flare on a stick. Patent pending.
Nice lambo
Could this be done with hydrogenolysis?
