The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. Thank you for explaining this to me! It’s a great video! My science teacher
is hopeless and just says the minimum. Thanks again!:)

  2. Black man… Black man wearing white coat… A book… Interesting logo…
Use the black man as a resource, whether physical or intellectual, and then
dress it up in a white coat… Ever wonder what that might do to a
generation of children, psychologically speaking? Especially over
centuries?… Talk to somebody who grew up on a reservation, or on a
ghetto… Why would they “fake” the lunar landing? PsyOps… Psychological
warfare… Like Iscariot, they covet land, earthly treasure…

  3. Images. Sound. Labels. Colours. Satanists hide behind crosses, and names
(labels) such as “evangelical”…. Who desires Truth? Jesus said, Seek and
YE shall find… He did not say that anybody who seeks will find, but he
said YE shaLL find…. Nor did he say, Ye shaLT find, but Ye SHALL find…
Shall, Shalt – know the difference? Words matter.

  4. Very nice lecture… Pictures, accurate… Also, nice and big… Graven
images are 3D… Whereas the pictures in this “scrap book” are 2D (not
    graven).

  5. Hydrogen is explosive, but its safer when it burns because the diffusivity
is so high it burns in a column out of the hole it may escape from in a
matter of seconds. and good luck trying to ignite it when its in a
    compressed container.

  6. Has anyone though of taking water molecules and splitting the hydrogen
atoms from the oxygen atoms, through the process of electrolysis, then
using the hydrogen and oxygen in a controlled explosion or burn for an
engine. I realize that electrolysis takes a lot of energy to work but I was
    just throwing up an idea.

  7. How is a battery different from a fuel cell? How is a fuel cell different
from a battery? How are they alike? I think, a fuel cell, is merely a
battery where the electrolyte is in a dynamic state… And so, rather than
changing batteries, you change the electrolyte – weighs less… Think of
    the electrolyte as, the fuel.

  8. @Pkthegodpk, you must be thinking about “water powered” cars that
electrolyse water into hydrogen & oxygen on the go – this video is all
about the machines that use stored hydrogen and fuel cells – there’s no
water tank involved. As such, the pressurised hydrogen is certainly
something we should take into consideration.

  9. Since its extremely inefficient to make the hydrogen in the first place,
why bother using it to run a car?

  10. Hey Anish, I had the same question. From what I understand, the catalysts
are responsible for stripping the electrode in the anode, and also
recombining the electron with the water in the cathode. Catalysis looks
pretty complicated, but it’s where you’d start if you want understand more.

  11. Why cant the electrons that had been split up from the Hydrogen Molecule
    pass through the electrolyte???

  12. Steam forces the turbine to rotate, but turbine and ,,engine,, (usually
synchronous generator) are connected through the gear (or not). Therefore
if she said turbine it is fine :P

How does a fuel cell work? – Naked Science Scrapbook

Fuel cells may be a major energy source of the future, but how do they work? In the latest Naked Science Scrapbook, we find out how to generate electricity f…
