to me its sounds like in order to make oil cheaper we have to use the heavier stuff in our own country thus forcing us to use a poorer quality fuel

Plus we have the reserves in this country. Only problem is ECO terrorist stopping us drilling for it and building new much needed refineries..
Just the sweet crude takes a few less steps in refining it. Cracking plants have to be different is all.

Well that and anytime we are ok’ed to drill because of high oil prices on imported oil they drop the price so per barrel so low it is well below the cost of our oil so making drilling here non competitive because of our oil costing more than they are selling it for.
