I was having an argument with a work colleague who naturally believes in 2012 (sigh) and is trying to freak people out about Nasa releasing images of the Sun showing weird Earth like objects orbiting around it. I have added a link, not much but it will give you a general idea of what people are talking about on the net. Apparently Nasa had these on their website, then removed them and then put them back up with the sphere photo-shopped out of it. I believe this is nonsense but I would appreciate any logical answers from Astronomers on this site as to is it true or not.

I know it’s nonsense, please don’t get so agitated about it, just looking for info. I’m not looking for a debate or spreading a conspiracy. I have asked lots of “proper” questions on this category before about the nature of astronomy, this is the first time I have asked a question that relates to a conspiracy.
