The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

Are there any fatal flaws with this idea?

I would like to see a power plant that sits on a sunny beach. This power plant would have a massive solar panel array that would not feed it’s power into the grid but would be used to power many Electrolysis machines. The machines would extract the hydrogen from sea water and use it to fuel sea-water boilers that would drive standard steam turbine generators. The steam could then be collected and condensed back into fresh water for drinking and/or agriculture. This power plant would take in sunlight (free) and sea water (renewable) and produce electricity and fresh water without burning any fossil fuels. Also, the massive solar panel array would allow the system store excess hydrogen for use at night and during adverse weather conditions, allowing the plant to produce power 24/7.
Perhaps it could be stuck in the Nevada desert and have a pipeline run to the Pacific.
How much do other power plants cost?
