with alternative sources of electric energy possible, we had a great non-polluting, cheap vehicle for transportation that we could just plug into an outlet to refuel. if everyone had solar panels on their roofs at home, we could offset the energy costs of ‘refuelling’ this car and it would be a near perfect energy system. what happened? GM literally killed the electric car and introduced the humvee to make more money. amazing.
don’t these companies realize they could make billions if they would just offer us another truly plug-in electric vehicle, let alone at the very least a mass produced plug-in hybrid that can get 150mpg ???
