The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. @X2YeZCAMCNC What about the oil and poison gasses leaking from the cracking sea floor miles and miles away from the well? And the HUGE methane bubble underneath it all that is slowly making it’s way to the surface? What’s going to happen with all that?

  2. @playa1313 They have three lines and the capping ram closed so the oil is leaking exactly where they want now. Two more steps to go and they will have it capped. Check out the sonar surveys I posted from today.

  3. @playa1313 Ready thing is going fine with the new capping device they are using now. This will be completely shut down within 24 to 48 hours.

  4. Update: the US government just gave BP the go-ahead to do the testing. In the feeds, I can see they’ve already begin adjusting the output of the oil.

  5. @X2YeZCAMCNC My only worry is the integrity of the well casing below the seafloor. They’ve currently delayed the tests in worries of possible leaks below the surface.

  6. @Tribesman10001 It will work. All the naysayer will get a big slap in the face. Go BP!

BP Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Cam 07-14-2010 11:49A Day 86 ROV Monitors New Capping Device

At the end of this clip you can see the new capping device sitting on the transition spool they installed above the flange on the low marine riser pack which is sitting on the damaged blowout preventer. Currently there are five places where oil can and or is coming out of. Two lines on the damaged BOP the choke and kill are where they have been recovering oil from other that the cap they where using before new one was placed on top. They will close these two lines down first and check pressure. More oil will gush out of the new capping device at the very top. Then they will close that down. Then the have two lines connected to the new capping device called choke and kill again. They will test presure and close the kill line off. Then the last choke line is variable by 18 turns by the ROV. They will monitor the well head pressure while closing this last valve 10% at a time. Once it is completely closed if the pressure stays high and stable they will have gained complete control of the well. It will have been shut off then. That time is coming very soon.
