  1. LoL billsnitzer……..its because there are too many armchair subsea engineers around. I have done this shit for 25 year and cant stand it when people misquote and all of a sudden become experts.

  2. misleading title.

Where is the part where anything is added or removed? All I see is the ROV examining a modified valve assembly. Thanks for posting, ignore the rude people, but please fix the title.

  3. That is the gooseneck they connected to the choke and kill lines on the BOP. Its not the guts of valves. Get it right dick shit.

  4. calm down retards- eventually it will recover 90% of the leak as they close more and more vents-

  5. Shit I’ve been watching these bastards for a week now, cutting the pipe SLOWLY… moving lines SLOWLY staring at nothing SLOWLY…. cutting more pipe and than getting their saw stuck SLOWLY…. Than adding this damn piece of junk cap SLLLLLOOOOOWWWWWLLLLYYYYY i mean did I mention SLOWLY and look they still managed to fuck it all up… Face it everyone… Where doomed.. Goodbye water, Hello H2oil….

  6. looks like another “this dont work and made it worse” to mark off the list. i mean honestly did you see the size of the pipe leading to the drill ship it is half the size of the cut riser on the bop. and according to bp plan all the oil is supposed to leak out the valves on the cap looks like they under estimated the amout leaking out of the pipe again.

BP Gulf oil spill ROV removes internal Guts from BOP

The Rov feed comes back online and the takes the internal guts out of the BOP. It then examines the internal wiring and the internal BOP Valves. It appears that the ROV just took off the external casing of the BOP.

BP struggles to place containment cap on gulf oil spill. Inaccurate title or description? Post a comment and I will fix it. Follow live blogging of this event blog.alexanderhiggins.com Watch it live here: blog.alexanderhiggins.com
