Question by evo741hpr3: BP live video feed removed! A bad sign?
Today it seems as if the live feed of the oil leak has been removed from all websites. I cant find any news about this any place.
My guess is that when they cut off the pipe in order to attempt to cap the leak it is going to cause a much worse flow of oil than the few small cracks already in the pipe. Thus BP and the government decided to take down the video feed so people wouldn’t freak when a huge plume of oil is seen gushing from the cut off pipe. The government is who demanded the live feed stay up during the top kill attempt.. so they must have given them the ok to take the feed down. Its just odd that there isn’t any news articles about the feed being down.
I know the top kill failed.. my point is that the live feed was taken down and there is no news of this any where on the net.
My assumption is that BP and the government took down the live feed because they are going to cut off the pipe which may make the situation worse.

& failed miserably.

Thanks BP, what a bunch of capitalist bar-stewards.
EDIT.
You’re right I can’t find a live link either.
& yes they probably more than likely have removed it.
