Streaming pictures from the webcam timed to the initial “top kill” response on the part of BP. At present it does not appear that the mud being pumped into the derelict well will stop the flow. We will have to see if the top kill works or fails over the next few days. Would it be possible to demolish the well itself with a series of underground (underwater) explosions? We don’t know what will work and what is possible. One thing is for sure we need integrity and the truth so we can reestablish executive leadership. Not mentioned in the video, Obama talked about the need for alternative energy. That plays into the nascent bull market possibility.

My idea for new module for containment oil spill gulf of mexico. Unfortunately the technicians of BP, told me they can not be feasible! ?!?? I possible???
Imploding that well will likely not work. there si not ime to drill multiple holes around that are deep enough especially if they will work in that contaminated area.
I think maybe using nuclear bomb to cause earthquake and compress everything may close that well but i may also fail.
best way would be just pump that oil into tankers and send it to refineries then sell as gasoline.
@asbestosicould i try not to play at all…ive been decreasing my expenditures continously for the last two years…im trying as hard as i can to disappear off the tax roles and system..i want to be as far as i can on the outter circle ….i may bump into the system but i dont intend to spend much time visiting …growing my own food…working on energy solutions for my home..buying used /yard sale for durables…gasoline is the one i havent found a solution for.

I wonder what was the purpose of drilling down 5000 feet of water and then some into the ocean floor? The pressure is so immense that it can easily crush a human being like a stepped-on can soda. There had to be other ways to find oil but with knowing the technology’s limitations.

@jmack619 Yes it is not clear in my comment – my suggestion will only be possible after a complete collapse. My point was that another bull market is not the answer; it would just be a prolongation of the end of the mad horserace. Nothing can be done this side of the finishing line because, as you rightly point out, the beast of capitalism has complete hegemony over the nations of the Earth.

I dont think we need any kind of bull market at this time. That will just delay and deepen the final crisis. @judutchinski it’s not a matter of how much is in “a well”, they poked a whole in a major high pressure artery of oil that they had no business tapping into as there is no means to stop such a hemorrhage.
