Today’s top line news seemed gloomy as usual . Global warming , global freezing will most likely kill us in a couple hundred of years . No wait , the lack of oil fuels will kill us in just 80 years . Nay terrorism armed with Pakistan nuclear bomb will clear us off just 10 years .It seems to me that every tomorrow could be our last . Or is it ? people say that in 2000 the millennium bug will annihilate the world computer , bringing us back to the dark ages but we survive it ..Others say that our doomsday midnight come at Cuban missile crisis , but we worked things out .I believe that the environment , economic and political issues are real and immediate , but often sensationalized by media .But by exaggerating the magnitude of each crisis we are actually hiding what is actually important . So can we be trusted to handle our fears ? or are we just little kids that had to be scared with boogeyman to stay good ?
