  1. So Mr. Know it all, why did you invade Afghanistan?
I’ll tell you one thing though, I know it wasn’t solely for 9/11.

  2. One of many of the kooky theories are we invaded Afghanistan to complete a oil and gas pipeline through that country. So yes, as usual they think we staged that as well.

  3. Actually, yeah. When there is facts out the ying yang, why do people still insist on calling it a conspiracy. I am republican, but i am a realist. Control of the middle east, not just iraq, is what the main goal is. Why control a small fortune when the whole fortune is right next to you. Also, you have to test fire your weapons out so that is why Afganistan was choosen first because we knew it was an easier victory than Iraq, syria, whch will be next, and the rest of the middle east.

  4. No, that was in order to build an oil pipeline through Afghanistan, permission for which was denied by the Taliban government. However, this did happen before 911, before all muslims decided to become terrorists and hate your freedoms etc etc.

  5. The Democrats want to stir up as much as they can to implicate Bush for chasing shadows.

I really fear that if the country votes for a democratic president, then troop withdrawal will mean leaving behind a skeleton crew, susceptible to assasinations, kidnappings, torture, etc. If any are to remain there. Those poor troops stationed there will be the worst station available, no one would want to be there.

If totally abandoned, the Middle East might erupt with more violence in a claim of power.

  6. Here is what I’ve gathered from others who have looked into this situation: 1. Gain control of the opium fields (The Taliban had almost managed to destroy the entire crop a few years ago. It is a huge source of revenue) 2. Oil. 3. Oil pipe-line routes. Lots of oil in the surrounding areas needs to get moved. 4. To get a military base in a fairly unpopulated area, that is near the Middle East and Central Asia. 5. To destabilize Pakistan. 6. extensive cave areas good for hiding in case of chemical or viral attacks, alien invasions.

  7. Ed Asner narrated a ‘documentary’ on Link TV about this very issue. All I needed to hear…………………:))

  8. Yes some of them claim we are going to build a pipe line there, through the mountains no less! Bin Ladden was and is headquartered there , why we didnt nuke them

  9. I bet they do. They also believe George Bush is a lizardman and Elvis is really running the country from an underground lair.

  10. The one I heard was “a war for a pipeline for Haliburton”.

Nevermind the Taliban was in league with Al-Qaeda, and refused to hand over Osama bin Laden.

  11. I thought it was to gain control over the Drug trade, so the
US could become the Dominant drug dealer.

Do the conspiracy wingnuts believe we invaded Afganistan just for oil too!!!!!!!!?
