Several area cities and counties recently received funds from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant program. The Energy Department awarded $6.2 million to 41 Arkansas cities and counties. The funds are provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
