The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. “is it possible to make a generator that uses fission to create energy and then use a small percentage of that energy to create fusion to reconstruct the matter back into a fissionable material?”

No. Even with quantum mechanics, you’re not going to build a perpetual motion machine.

“another question of mine is has anyone ever invented a small nuclear generator ???”

Yes. NASA uses them for long distance space probes where the probes get too far from the sun to use solar panels.

  2. Nice idea! i think if we do this quiet a lot of times there will be a desperate loss of mass in the atoms, as the energy is released due to conversion of mass to energy through E=MC^2. Any way i don’t think countries will adopt this technique as there is no need to recreate the fissionable material as its found in abundance. I think you need to check the energy required to recreate the material through fusion.
bout the nuclear generator….i don’t know small but there are many big generators around, even a nuclear fusion reactor is being created by a group of countries

fusion/fission?

Question by Jaxx .: fusion/fission?
ok quick question

fission creates a large amount of energy
and fussion is the opposite of fission and it takes a sizable amount of energy to start it

is it possible to make a generator that uses fission to create energy and then use a small percentage of that energy to create fusion to reconstrust the matter back into a fissionable material

considering that fusion uses hydrogen/helium
and fission uses plutonium/uranium i doubt it but its a good concept !!

another question of mine is has anyone ever invented a small nuclear generator ???

If you’re trying to make a cycle that will regenerate fuel indefintely, it will not work. Thermodynamics says it’s impossible.
