Rau obviously should have won. Kira had his plot armour deflecting all the Dragoon shots. 2:48 was way too late for him to be taking a hit.

@SyrenniaLestrange ugh… He only killed Nicol, Rau was alive after he was stabed by Kira it was GENESIS that killed him, he didn’t kill Ray he simply disabled the Legend, and as for Heine Stella killed him not Kira.

@Raptor232 I know that much already, but the Freedom went speeding away from the…wait, ah, it shows it right there! lol I didn’t notice when the meteor exploded, the rifle and shield went zooming along with the Freedom! So it sems they’re magnetic to have followed it down to that transport pod then.
The Providence was a sweet gundam the newer version the legend was sweet as well kinda wish
after watching gundam seed destiny they had the Legend in more episodes same with the Providence
@Fuzion When the Freedom and Justice are docked with the METEOR, their beam rifle and shield are stored within the METEOR Unit, directly behind where the Gundam docks

I agree! This was an epic final fight – Kira barely managed to win and he won through skill and determination (and maybe a bit of luck) against a VERY powerful opponent who really knew how to use his mobile suit, a battle that pitted two pilots against each other at the height of their abilities. The final “duels” in SEED Destiny were so one-sided they were painful to watch!
