  1. White vinegar. Wash hair as normal and then use vinegar. Rinse it out and let it dry – DON”T use conditioner or detangler for a few days.

  2. i would go to your local salon ASAP! they can get that stuff out for you because they have the knowledge and products to help with that- also dont listen to the others with their at-home products because it may make your situation worse!

  3. wash it with vinegar or lemon juice, and let it set.i havent tried it, but the acid should brake down the oil.

  4. No worries! First get a shampoo designed for greasy or oily hair. Use quite a lot to shampoo your hair – and preferably in the shower so you can rinse well. But (this is the smart bit), before applying the shampoo add a drop – just one drop of washing up liquid. The stuff you do dishes with. If that hasn’t cured the problem repeat several times until it does. Don’t comb or brush your hair too much after you’ve washed it – just the minimum. Good luck!

  5. The only thing I can think of is to use specially formulated shampoo for greasy hair. If you go to a beauty supply outlet store they should have something to get rid of the oil in your hair.

I used to have some tea shampoo that I think would work, but I can’t remember the name of it now.

Meanwhile, pull your hair together in a “slicked down” style.

Help! How do you get exsessive grease out of your hair?? I’ve tried everything?

Question by oceandreamgoddess: Help! How do you get exsessive grease out of your hair?? I’ve tried everything?
-my niece had gotten head lice and I didn’t want to get it so i did a search on home remedies and it said to saturate your hair in essential oils that it would smother and kill lice and eggs -turns out I didn’t even have lice but now I am stuck with super greasy hair!!!! I used gobs and gobs of coconut oil hairdressing -I have tried to get it out with dish detergent and hand de-greaser but nothing works -I’ve washed my hair 15 times in the last 2 days and now its kinda filmy or waxy – Help me please – I had to miss work because my boss sent me home until I can fix this cause I work at a top-scale restaurant and appearance is crucial -I dont want to get fired for this – What can I use that will cut the grease out of my hair ASAP ??!!
