The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. Nice little machine there. But the video quality is out of this world
clear!! What kind if camera are you using here?

  2. If you are asking about the reading on my meter, it was less than 1 volt.
0.6 volts, lol… There is in fact a video on Youtube showing a small steam
engine turning a DC motor/generator and he is indeed using it to recharge
his cell phone. But I think he was getting 5 or 6 volts, which is how much
    you would need.

  3. you mean hubris of humans… see by simply stating that you are providing
hubris yourself with the implication that hubris is a negative thing and
disassociating yourself with “Americans” whom you state as the object of
your discontent. your comment is therefore a hypocrisy.

  4. You are describing a brushless DC motor. Brushless motors have THREE wires.
Notice this motor has TWO terminals. :)

  5. Hi, thanks for the comments. It is a PM Research motor, modern, new.
Designed to look vintage. It is a PMDC motor. I bought it second hand, so
it may have been ruined first.

  6. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, some time in the future I will revisit this
genny problem and try to get it sorted.

  7. @vrmmarine Yes I know. But “just any small DC motor” does not come in a
cast iron scale replica housing. ;)

  8. Now that your meter is plugged in correctly, you just need to change the
setting from DC volts to AC voltage. That generator creates AC voltage
because it is not rectified. I bet you would see an increase in your
voltage! Just a heads up! Very Nice set up, I have the TVR1A also and love
    it! Check out my video.

  9. That’s a cool little setup ! Have you considered getting a more efficient
generator? that output seems low for such a big Genset. Also have you
considered a concentric tube heat exchanger to preheat your feedwater? the
last model of the Stanley Steamer had feedwater preheaters that increased
efficiency. I have been working on such a system. If you are interested
please emial me at oct1113 @ hotmail.com P.S. All information is free for
your use in any way and anyone interested may reply

  10. less than 1 volt….wow lol…not much at all huh…hell a single AA
battery is 1.5 volts, but would not be continuous as a generater of
course…i would love the idea of harnessing my own power even in such a
little form…that way no matter what happens with my electricity i would
always have some form of power…thanks for your reply back

  11. so what kind of power was the 60? was that 60 volts? im not an expert here,
im just trying to figure out if a steam system at home would be useful in
maybe charging my phone or even powering a light so i can see to work on my
car or something….the less electricity we use the better right :)

  12. I’m pretty sure that’s just because the AC is unbalanced and will have a
slight bias, which is what’s read as DC. If you want to know the current
draw, etc of the motor, you need to measure the resistance of the windings.
Just chucking it up and spinning it isn’t going to give you a whole lot of
    info.

  13. Put your meter on AC not DC. When it’s on DC your measuring ripple not the
AC out of the alternator. For DC, put a rectifier on the alternator.

  14. Water/Windmills/Solar Power Air Compressors & store energy until needed
,Years even , with NO need for batteries (recirculate lubrication)
Industrial Linear Motors, Voice Coils & Solenoids can self generate with
overunity with NO need for an outside source of power except for start up.
= FREE ENERGY Great video i wish it was longer.

Home Made “Toy” Steam Powered Generator Plant

I made an electric generating steam plant using my miniature marine steam engine and boiler so that I could run it while I am building a model boat for it.
