  1. You can report any claims fraud to the BP hotline. The phone number runs on local television commercials regularly. But you’d best be darn sure you know what you’re talking about, and have proof that Osaka isn’t using local seafood. Just because they’re a Japanese restaurant does not mean they import all their seafood from Japan. The cost of doing this would be astronomical. I live well north of Covington, and some of our seafood eateries have already closed their doors due to seafood shortages and/or exhorbitant prices.

BP has set up a fraud hotline at 1-877-359-6281

How do I report a bp oil spill fraud?

Question by joe a: How do I report a bp oil spill fraud?
There is a restaurant called Osaka West in Covington, LA who are claiming damages from the BP oil spill. Problem is, they get all their seafood from Japan. How do I report them. I’ve searched the internet, but can’t find a link to report it.

THEY have to substantiate their claim, so it won’t pass anyway.
