1. Well if U do not think U pay enough for gasoline vote Democrat. Watch them ,they will do nothing to help like drilling.

2. Essentially McCain and the Republicans want to drill for more oil on our soil. Places like off the coast of Florida where beaches and coastal reefs would probably be ruined, plus you’d have to look at them. All in the most beautiful parts of Florida too. They also dont really want to look into any alternatives for fuel like solar, biofuel and natural gas, etc. Democrats want to lessen our dependence on foreign oil and oil in general, which would lessen our need to be in this war and would save Americans TONS of money, but we’re so fixated on oil and nothing else. Not to mention most Republicans dont care about the environment and global warming and wll refuse to believe it even exists. The Government is essentially holding these types of fuels back because BIG OIL has SOOOO much money to get what they want to keep us on it.

3. I disagree with Bonzi to say the least. Sen Obama’s plan to tax oil companies will only increase our dependence of imported oil. This action will i no way benefit the consumer. Just the government, the suppliers will simply raise prices to cover the difference so there will be no “upside” to the end users. By increasing internal production we will influence the markets and prices will decrease as a result of a greater supply. Simple economics really. the US should invest in an upgraded power distribution network(the grid) and also in just about any domestic fuels. Nuclear, wind, solar, coal and oil. Nuclear in my opinion is the short term answer as is the plan put forth by T B Pickens. Nothing should be overlooked as a path to the future. As to the difference between D’s and R’s I see none really. Each party is owned by one “special interest” or another. Letting oil companies drill without oversight is not the answer but then again not allowing drilling and being held hostage by extreme environmentalists is not acceptable either.
